Endless Summer 30 in Fire Table
The format that hides the cylinder. Lower output than a bowl on purpose, which is also why it runs about twice as long per tank.

A 30 x 30 x 24 in propane fire table rated 30,000 BTU/hr, with push-button ignition and the 20 lb cylinder concealed in the base. That works out to about 14.3 hours per tank. Buy it because you want the tank hidden and a usable ledge, not because you want maximum heat.

- The cylinder and the control panel disappear, which is the whole design brief
- 30,000 BTU nearly doubles runtime per tank against a 58,000 BTU bowl
- The ledge around the burner is usable surface, unlike a bowl
- 30,000 BTU is genuinely less heat, not just a slower burn
- 24 in tall and heavy, so this does not travel
- Fire glass and lava rock are consumables that discolor
A patio where the pit doubles as the table and the propane tank must not be visible.
Heat is the priority. Buy BTU in a bowl instead.
We have not burned this unit. These are the things a specification sheet cannot answer, listed rather than glossed over.
- Resin mantel durability under direct sun over several seasons
- Whether the enclosed base affects tank temperature in hot weather. The listing does not say

What you are actually paying for
A fire table costs more than a bowl of similar output, and the premium buys exactly one thing: the cylinder disappears. That sounds cosmetic until you have lived with a 20 lb tank sitting beside a pit on a finished patio, tethered by a hose that dictates where the pit can go. The cabinet solves the tank problem and gives you a ledge to put a glass on.
Everything else in this category is broadly the same: a stainless burner under lava rock or fire glass, fed from a cylinder, lit with a push-button igniter. The differentiators are the burner rating and what ships in the box. Fire pit vs fire table, in full.
30,000 BTU is a deliberate trade, not a weak burner
This is the point most reviews of fire tables get backwards. A 30,000 BTU/hr table is routinely criticized for producing less heat than a 58,000 BTU bowl, which is true and also the entire mechanism behind its main practical advantage.

14.3 hours at full output
So the choice is not between a good burner and a bad one. It is between a big fire that empties a tank in three evenings and a smaller one that lasts five or six. If the thing you dislike about propane is swapping cylinders, the lower rating is the feature. Fire pit BTU ratings, explained.
24 inches tall means it is furniture
With a cylinder in the base this is not something you reposition on a whim. Decide where it goes before it is assembled, and check the clearance you need in that spot first — gas produces no embers, which removes one objection to a covered space, but it does not remove the manufacturer's clearance instruction, and several manuals in this category prohibit any overhead structure regardless.
The manual for your specific model is the authority on that, not a general rule and not this page. Fire pits under a covered patio · The clearance table.
The media is a consumable
Fire glass looks better than lava rock and costs more. Both discolor over time: soot, mineral deposits from rain and simple heat cycling dull the surface across a season or two. No manufacturer warrants against it and periodically replacing the media is part of owning one of these. If appearance is why you chose the table, budget for that — fire glass is the more expensive consumable to replace.
What we could not establish
Two things the listing does not address. How the resin mantel holds up under several seasons of direct sun, which is the part most likely to date the product visually. And whether the enclosed base affects cylinder temperature in hot weather — an enclosed tank is normal for the format and the product is sold that way, but no figure is published and we are not going to speculate about it.

- What we did not do: light it, measure heat at seated distance, or assess the mantel over a season.
